Mira - French tutor

Mira Ranxha is an esteemed French as a Second Language Specialist, accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). She started her educational journey in 1993 in Albania, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and launching her career as a French as a Second Language teacher. After her graduation, Mira relocated to Greece with her husband, where she dedicated 20 years as a French tutor. In 2014, they moved to Canada, where Mira further honed her expertise and became a recognized French as a Second Language Specialist from Queen's University in June 2020.

Mira's teaching proficiency encompasses a range of levels, from Elementary to Secondary, across all French program strands including Core, Extended, and Immersion. Her skills are not just limited to mainstream education; she is also adept at working with students who have learning difficulties and special needs, a testament to her adaptable teaching style. Since 2017, Mira has been contributing her skills and knowledge as a French teacher within the Toronto District School Board (TDSB).

In addition to her instructional expertise, Mira is a polyglot, fluent in French, English, Albanian, and Greek, and possesses working knowledge in Italian and Spanish, which adds a multicultural depth to her teaching methodology.
